Terror Suspects possibly Connected with Al Qaeda, Arrested in KY

  Kentucky.  The Bluegrass State, is most noted for its flowing hills, farms, horses, and now, terror suspects.  According to WKYT-27 News, in an report online, the two suspects are Waad Ramadan Alwan and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi.  According to the report, the gentlemen were arrested as part of a sting where weapons were being gathered from a storage facility, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  Senator Mitch McConnel made the announcement, while in Kentucky on Wednesday.  The attempt itself was futile, as the weapons were inert in nature.  A link to the news story is available here:


        Terrorism has no place in our world.  September 11, 2001, the United States suffered terrible losses, and the world became aware of extremism in terror.  We as World Citizens, must never lose sight of those lessons. This event occurred not far from my hometown, and I am watching more closely now, than ever before.
